DP250: mobile load testing for projects with higher structural demands
As structural requirements across the construction sector continue to increase, the need for reliable and certified load testing is becoming more important than ever. To support builders, installers and modular construction professionals, FIRST BASE Ground Screws offers the DP250: a mobile load testing installation designed to deliver accurate, on-site verification of screw foundation performance.
Watch the video
The video below provides a concise introduction to the DP250 and shows how the installation performs the key load tests and generates reliable on-site data.
Three static pile load tests from one position
The DP250 allows you to carry out three different static pile load tests from a single setup. Vertical loads up to 220 kN and horizontal forces on the pile head can be tested quickly and efficiently, providing clear insight into the load-bearing behaviour of your ground screws. This makes the system particularly suited for projects with higher structural demands, including modular buildings, office units, garden rooms and tiny houses.
Fast, accurate results with full documentation
All test data is automatically captured and processed through our PLC-A1 software. The system generates fully documented reports that give a clear view of load, displacement and performance characteristics measured directly on site. This enables construction professionals to determine the correct diameter and length of the ground screw for your project.
Designed for a wide range of soil conditions
The DP250 is engineered to perform consistently across various soil profiles, from fine sandy clay layers to coarser sandy soils. This versatility makes the installation suitable for both permanent and temporary applications, and allows contractors to validate foundation performance without the need for invasive or time-consuming testing methods.
