In January 2026,\u00a0D Page Contractors and FIRST BASE Ground Screws collaborated to expand a\u00a0ground-mounted solar installation\u00a0at Oakwood Business Park Centre in Harrogate, United Kingdom. In just four days, the expansion from nine to sixteen\u00a0solar\u00a0tabels\u00a0was fully completed thanks to the combination\u00a0of ground\u00a0screw foundations and a modular ground-mounted\u00a0support structure supplied by FIRST BASE.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Alan Cryer, owner of Oakwood Business Park Centre, had previously collaborated in 2023 with D Page Contractors and FIRST BASE to install the first nine solar tables. Alan was already enthusiastic at the time about the stability of the tables, as they were able to effortlessly withstand the heavy clay soil and strong winds of Harrogate. Alan: \u201cIt\u2019s about stability. I wanted dual ground screws into the ground because we get a lot of heavy winds here. That was my main concern.\u2019\u2019 <\/p>\n\n\n\n
