In this organic farm in Eindhoven, solar energy is combined with crop cultivation. A practical example of dual land use, where agriculture and energy production come together.

For this project, FIRST BASE supplied the ground screws for a ground-mounted solar structure in an east–west configuration. In total, 144 posts were installed, divided across 12 structures, with sufficient height to allow crops to continue being grown beneath the installation.

The foundation was realized using our G3 ground screws. As with every project, a pull-out test was carried out in advance using the TP60 to determine the correct pile length. The installation was performed with our hydraulic M800, which allowed the foundations to be installed quickly and in a controlled manner.

The result: an immediately load-bearing foundation, without concrete, suitable for the dynamic nature of this type of project.
