In opdracht van Strandbaak B.V. hebben we een speciaal project uitgevoerd op Marker Wadden voor Natuurmonumenten (een Nederlandse natuurbeschermingsorganisatie). Marker Wadden is een uniek natuurgebied midden in het Markermeer, ongeveer 10 kilometer met de boot vanaf Lelystad. Dit nieuw stuk natuur is nog volop in ontwikkeling. De archipel is opgebouwd met ongeveer dertig miljoen m\u00b3 zand, klei en slib uit het Markermeer. In dit ongerepte gebied hebben we 260 grondschroeven (\u00d8114) ge\u00efnstalleerd voor twee recreatiewoningen, een groepsaccommodatie en de woningen van de opzichter en de havenmeester.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Op zo\u2019n afgelegen locatie hebben de schroeffunderingen hun waarde bewezen, omdat ze slechts een geringe impact op het milieu hebben. Het transport naar de locatie verliep soepel en de installatie ter plaatse was snel. De conische vorm van de schroeffunderingen maakt het verschil. De manier waarop we de grondschroeven installeren veroorzaakt geen trillingen die de aanwezige flora en fauna zouden kunnen verstoren. Zodra de schroef in de grond zit, kunnen er zonder vertraging zware lasten op de schroeven worden geplaatst.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Marker Wadden is een geweldig experiment. Mocht het nodig zijn om de structuren te verplaatsen of te verwijderen, dan is dat geen probleem: we draaien de grondschroeven er eenvoudig weer uit. Deze duurzame, circulaire manier om stabiele funderingen te bieden, sluit perfect aan bij de filosofie van Natuurmonumenten en Marker Wadden.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
